About Join The Republic: Community Challenge
Join the Republic: Community Challenge (JTR:CC) is an annual global Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and League of Legends (LoL) competition inviting all gamers to participate in a team that will play in the Global Finals.
A team is built by a captain, who will audition and select four gamers to join his or her team. The gamers will need both in-game and social skills to make it into the team. The captains will select gamers who they feel confident leading to the Global Finals. Once the final members are chose, the team will attend a bootcamp to build both team spirit and in-game chemistry.
Once the 16 teams are finalized they will travel to the global finals, a full-on esports event and an opportunity for the selected gamers to experience their idols’ lifestyles for a weekend. The entire proceedings will be broadcast from Monster Energy Dreamhack Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
The entire event can be followed on ROG social-media channels, from the start at ChinaJoy to the finish at the Global Finals in January 2017 at Monster Energy Dreamhack Studios in Stockholm, Sweden.
